Barneys New York Launches Their 'Perfect Pairs' Campaign, Benefitting the Human Rights Campaign

Barneys-perfect-pairs

Indulge in your footwear fetish at Barneys this week and you're actually doing a good deed.

As part of the launch of the floor-through shoe emporium unveiled at their Madison Avenue flagship location, Barneys New York has launched an adorable charity project called Perfect Pairs. The skinny is this: 10% of sales made at the store's new footwear cathedral will go to benefit the Human Rights Campaign, which, as we all know, is an endlessly positive resource for the advancement of equality for the LGBT community. So, go gawk at Barneys's latest addition, and treat yourself while you're at it...you may or may not be able to write it off as a philanthropic donation. But if the FEDS show up at your door, don't tell 'em we told you that. Oh, and if you want an adorable anecdote to warm your mid-week heart of stone, check out the love letter (at left) from Francesco Russo of Sergio Rossi about how shoes brought he and his boyfriend together. John Varvatos started his first date with his now-wife at Barneys (smart guy!) So cute!
