The network will air an hour-long program on Thursday, " J. Crew and the Man Who Dressed America."

Check your local listings and set your DVR, because CNBC is broadcasting an hour-long mini-documentary called "J. Crew and the Man Who Dressed America," this Thursday. In it, they'll explore the meteoric rise of the mass retailer at the hands of former-GAP head honcho Mickey Drexler, and Creative Director Jenna Lyons (who was featured at No. 41 on Out's Power List). Anna Wintour makes an always welcomed cameo to extoll Drexler, known to industry insiders as the "merchant prince," and his industrious vision for the label. Below is a preview of the show, featuring Lyons talking about her process for divining the future of fashion.

Tune in to CNBC on Thursday, May 24th at 10pm EST to watch.
