Donatella Versace's Life is Expectedly Glamorous, Includes 'Downton Abbey'

'Harper's Bazaar' checks in with the designer to find out what it takes to be fashion's most compelling blonde bombshell.

Ah, what it must be the ultra-fab, super fabulous designer behind some of fashion's most sexy designs. Harper's Bazaar touched base with the fabulous diva to see what, exactly, an average day in her life is like, and let us be the first to report it's anything but average. Versace wakes up at 8am and works out (after giving her pup a big hug) before embarking on an intense beauty regimen to keep her looking fresh as a daisy. She has three phones--two iPhones and one BlackBerry--and appears to be quite well-read, reading three newspapers and two newsites on her way to work ("I'm a news fanatic," she says). While her day is expectedly busy, what really shocked us is the way she likes to unwind after back-to-back meetings and other responsibilities. Apparently, La Diva isn't too different from us, as she likes to go home and zone out in front of the boob tube, watching the news, some DVDs (recently she caught The Help and The Ides of March) and is a big fan of (drumroll....) Downton Abbey. Just. Like. Us. We didn't think we could love her anymore than we already do, but it appears she just elbowed in for some extra room in our hearts. One glaring omission? How many cigarettes the designer du jour sucks down per day. That would be an interesting fact to know.

Read about her full day over at HarpersBazaar.com.
