Spotted: Marc Jacobs and Porn Star Harry Louis in Rio

Here's the thing about rumors—not only is it a great album—but they usually come from some place of truth. Let's be all fashion newsy for a minute and talk about the long road from back-alley whispers of Raf Simons replacing Galliano at Dior to its final announcement earlier this week. Or perhaps the persistent hum of chatter that Stefano Pilati was on the outs at YSL, which eventually was confirmed earlier this year. Seems that mindless prattle isn't always so mindless. So when the web starting lighting up with intimations that Marc Jacobs was getting to know porn actor Harry Louis in the biblical sense, we thought of it as mere gossipmongering, but held on to the chance that maybe...just maybe...there was a kernal of truth hidden amongst the not-so-cryptic tweets. Well, World of Wonder has silenced any eye-rolling doubters with photographic evidence that the two are more than just acquaintances. The two Speedo-clad hotties frolicked beachside in Rio, and there are lots of pictures (and pictures of them taking pictures of themselves—how meta!) to prove it. We have no qualms with saying we have a bias for Marc Jacobs—for his brilliant work, his own quirky personal style, his generally flip attitude about the fashion machine that he so effortlessly dominates, and his penchant for young, dark-featured gentleman—so we're happy to see the fashionisto find love, if not a wee bit jealous.
