Question: The 'New York Times' Claims Guys Are Waxing...Down There. Are You?

Bikini waxing for dudes is a trend, sayeth the Gray Lady. Don't give up on shaving, sayeth us.

Oh that New York Times...always right on top of the breaking stories of the day. Their latest expose is that men are now starting to get bikini waxes--like full monty style. And not just gay men...all sorts of men are doing it. Depilation down under, it seems, is sweeping the nation (or at very least Manhattan). "It's the gay community, it's the straight community, it's very conservative guys, it's very liberal guys. All different age groups are coming in. It's much, much bigger than we ever thought," the president of Bliss, Mike Indursky, revealed. Emulating celebrities like David Beckham (yes!) and Mike "The Situation" (no!) have been guiding forces in this trend, as is the deduction that by trimming or eliminating any pubic hair, your...uh....stuff down there, will appear larger. Cons, of course are the pain factor (though, women have been doing this for years, and rarely throw tantrums), but products like NumbNuts are being developed to aid those with a low tolerence for pain. Other suggestions are body-grooming devices from companies like Braun and Phillips Norelco, that trim, not rip the hair from the folicle. For the more flamboyant, there's "pejazzling," or decorating your penis with crystal embellishments. Somehow we feel that might skew a bit more to the gay community. In the end, the article's bottom line is this: guys aren't Neanderthals, after all. It's no longer considered feminine or emasculating to care about how you look, from a fashion or grooming standpoint.

While we're on the subject, we figured we might as well plug a new line we came across recently called Cremo Shaving Cream.
