Miuccia Prada is having a celebrity moment, wouldn't you say? Her fall 2012 show was filled with illustrious actors mixed in with living mannequins, and in her past two advertising campaigns she's opted for screen stars in lieu of models. Last season's Toby Maguire has been replaced by Michael Pitt, who we mostly think of as Tommy Gnosis from Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Others may remember his arty, sexy role in The Dreamers or his current role on HBO's Boardwalk Empire. While on the spring runway, Ms. Prada's spring show was golf inspired, and mockingly garish in a way that only she can make appealing, but the ads, which have been out for some time now, give the collection a more somber tinge. Now, there's video of Pitt on-set (David Sims shot the ads) doing everything from playing guitar, boxing, and mugging for the camera. Check it out below:
