Slideshow: Coach Unveils Legacy Collection

The leather goods company has raided their own archive for next season's inspiration.

Last Monday, the accessory-heavy label Coach unveiled their latest collection, aptly titled The Legacy Collection. They've tossed their logo-centric aesthetic and are embracing a sleek and minimalist sense of attractiveness. The company, founded in 1941 in New York City, was dedicated to quality craftsmanship, a belief they still maintain today. And while they've never abandoned that love of artisanal skill, the designs have evolved to keep up with the times. For their Legacy Collection, the company dove into their own rich history and realized that some of the finds felt so contemporary they were practically begging to be made. For men, this means taking classic compositions and updating them for the tech-savy dude, and emphasizing clean lines and simple yet classic details. Rich leather iPad cases (above), roomy totes, and utilitarian messengers pepper the sizable collection, which hit stores in July.
