'Southpark' Characters Make Their Fashion Debut

Marcjacobs-southpark

Designer Marc Jacobs pays homage to the ongoing animated series.

As part of Marc Jacobs's ongoing collaboration with The Interdisciplinary Melanoma Cooperative Group at New York University, the designer enlists the help of his megawatt celebrity friends, has them strip down, and then plasters their almost-nude images on t-shirts, the proceeds of their sales going to charity, of course. In the past, he's corralled powerhouses that include Victoria Beckham, Naomi Campbell, Dita Von Teese, and Heidi Klum. Having exhausted his rolodex of real life companions, he's moved on to his two-dimensional pals. Jacobs and Co. have chosen Eric Cartman, Randy Marsh and Butters Stotch from the Comedy Central show Southpark to disrobe for his latest batch of do-gooder shirts. Perhaps he's just returning the favor, seeing as Southpark featured a character named "Muscle Man Marc" earlier this year. Either way, buying one is a tax write-off, so head to marcjacobs.com or any of the Marc by Marc Jacobs outposts to pick one up.
