Beth Ditto Partners with MAC Cosmetics

MAC cosmetics has a long history with shacking up with various pop culture icons. In the past they've tapped everyone from the ultimate material girl, Barbie, to art world darling Cindy Sherman to help create buzz around lipliner, eyeshadow, and the like. The latest celeb to be picked up by the company is lesbian songstress Beth Ditto. The first image from the union hit WWD today, and it's bringing all sorts of witchy, Picasso/abstract realness to the table. I just love that MAC doesn't stick to the same stable of obvious beauty industry-approved celebs, and takes chances on more outré spokespeople. I mean, they signed my girl RuPaul, back in the day. So, Beth, you betta werq.
