Kardashian Divorce Spurs Hipster Vigil

Throngs descended upon Dash in New York to mourn the death of modern love.

Yesterday the not-so-shocking news broke that Kim Kardashianfiled for divorce from Kris Humphries after a mere 72 days of wedded bliss. This tragedy spurred a bunch of jobless people to converge upon the New York outpost of Kardashian's boutique Dash and hold an impromptu vigil. While Kim and Kris have not yet done anything remotely monumental nor inspiring like, say, Steve Jobs, we're willing to just sit back and enjoy the crazy-train. Outside the store grieving masses who held up cardboard signs, sang songs, and lit candles in rememberance of the terrible ways that love can go wrong. While this may be amusing and all, what we find incredibly agitating is that Kim reportedly raked in $17 million for the much-publicized nuptial. Thank God the law is protecting the sancitiy of heterosexual marriage in California and all -- we sure would never want to see the sincere loving bond that can only exist between a man and a woman to be threatened.

Anyway, here are some pictures of the store besieged with (unemployed) mourners from Buzzfeed.
