Collier Schorr is Bottega's newest collaborator this season.

The latest Art of Collaboration from Bottega Veneta called on the talents of Collier Schorr to photograph the brand's Cruise 2012/2013 collection.

Bottega has a profound knack in finding the perfect collaborator to showcase their newest collection. This season their highly anticipated Cruise collection for both men and women features a painterly aspect emphasizing soft, neutral colors and an eclectic mixed media of prints.

As an artist, Collier Schorr, focuses on the elements of human identity as she treads the lines of race, gender and sexuality in her photography.

Often highlighting the androgyny of her subjects, she finds the masculinity of her female subjects and the femininity of her male subjects, such as models, Candace Swanepoel and Andrej Pejic, respectfully. Bottega Veneta Creative Director Tomas Maier, reveals why Schorr was a natural choice this season. "Collier explores questions that are central to the work I do as a designer, and she does it with rare formal sophistication," he says. "Her images reveal the individuality of each subject while capturing the gentle structure and ease of the collection. I especially like the nuanced way she used color, subtly underlining the palette that was the collection's original inspiration."

Schorr now joins in the elite ranks of Art of Collaboration photographers such as Nick Knight, Sam Taylor-Wood, Nan Goldin, and Annie Lebovitz.
