Currently in theaters in The Curse of Sleeping Beauty and filming Lee Daniels' next hit series, Peck shares some style insight with Out at Fashion Week

Ladies and gentlemen, there's a new Prince Charming in town. Currently starring in The Curse of Sleeping Beauty, Ethan Peck, the grandson of Gregory, is poised to uphold his family legacy and become the next Hollywood heartthrob. (In case you have any doubts, check out the trailer, at least until the 1:11 mark.)

A Peck should know a thing or two about dressing well, so when we caught Ethan attending the spring 2017 Ferragamo show in Milan, we asked him our most burning questions, including dishing out on his role in Lee Daniels's new series, STAR, which he's filming in Atlanta with Queen Latifah.

Here's what Peck had to say:

Out: Hi Ethan! You come from a family of men of great style. What's the most useful fashion tip that you learned from your dad and grandfather?

Ethan Peck: A well-tailored suit never fails.

How did Ferragamo reach out to you to star in its 100 Years anniversary film?

I had been invited to the reopening of the Ferragamo store on Rodeo Drive, and consequently to participate in a fashion film for the brand. I think they felt I possessed some qualities they wanted, and we also got along very well. It's been an amazing experience getting to know Ferragamo (the designer was a personal friend of his grandfather, Gregory). It's an exceptionally elegant brand and company. I feel very lucky. (Watch the movie below:)

You have a busy year ahead shooting the new Lee Daniels series STAR. Can you tell us a little a bit about this project? How is STAR going to be different from Empire?

The show's focus is on three young women who aspire to succeed as a girl group in a seedy Atlantan music world. Lee is a tremendous director and he's hugely exciting to work with; he pushes everyone around him out of their comfort zones. He also takes on the admirable responsibility to create something very special with every project, and I think that draws the best to him.

What are your three style essentials?

A mechanical metal watch, classic plastic framed sunglasses, and lace-up oxfords. Ferragamo's Tramezza Oxfords would be my pick (Peck's wearing them, above). They are fantastic.

And three must-have grooming essentials?

I'm not much of a groomer, but I'm all about good hygiene and skin care, so here they are: Santa Maria Novella bar soaps, a Merkur safety razor, and Proraso after shave balm.

What about a favorite scent or fragrance?

I just started using Uomo by Salvatore Ferragamo and it's becoming my go-to scent.

What was your favorite look at the Ferragamo show this season?

There are a few embroidered jackets that I would really like to get a hold of. They have a surrealist quality that capture an element of surprise. They're very cool.

According to you, what's the worst fashion faux-pas for a man?

Flip flops anywhere but the beach.
