Daily Crush: Nike’s 2016 BETRUE Line

Few things are as appealing as versatility. And this year, like others before it, Nike's BETRUE collection promises to get you looking freshly festive for Pride, but keeping you proud year-round.

This year the brand expanded their campaign to include three kinds of shoes (Lunar Tempo 2, HyperRev, and Air Max Zero), t-shirts, tanks, and running tights. Accompanying the brand's usual rainbow gradient design is another recognizable symbol associated with the LGBT community: the pink triangle.

"Since its inception, Nike has championed athletes in all walks of life, believing that diversity creates better communities and fosters innovation and growth," Nike said in a release. "The 2016 BETRUE collection, inspired by the LGBT community, represents this conviction and commitment, pairing two prominent symbols of pride: the rainbow flag and pink triangle."

Nike will also donate a portion of BETRUE sales to organizations empowering the LGBT sports community.
