The entrance is hidden under a 20ft. pile of hay at 15th Street in Hudson River Park, off the West Side Highway.
The store was designed in a shipping container by Bittertang, a small New York-based design firm.
Back lit to glow, warm beeswax walls create a soft and eerie space as you enter the store.
Limited-edition footwear is on sale exclusively at this location.
The wax room leads into a second space curtained with raven feathers.
Most of Bastian's new winter collection is available for purchase in the second room.
The pop-up is the 11th installation of BOFFO Building Fashion series. Bittertang was selected through an international architecture competition to conceive the store.

The clothes are displayed on custom-built furniture.
Michael Bastian was inspired by the "dark side of New England" for his autumn-winter collection. The shop features novelty pieces such as tiger camo sweaters, cotton military jackets, and hand-knit sweaters with a Ouija board.
