Yoanna House, Cycle 21. What have you been up to since you were on the show? I got a chance to sign with a really great agency and be a part of some really great modeling projects. From there I began dabbling in some fun hosting opps with the Style Network, The N network,
Glamour magazine, different makeup specials, and occasionally getting a chance to host fashion week. I’m just having a blast living in New York.
2. Do you think the show accurately portrays the life of a model? No, I think the show is very entertaining and fun to watch, but as for what actually goes on in the life of a model, I would say only about 10% is accurate.
3. What was your favorite challenge?Going to Milan and learning how to take pictures at the shoots. Learning how to move my body and face.
4. What was your least favorite challenge?Living with that many girls in New York City -- it was challenging sharing a bathroom.
5. Give us a little dirt on Tyra: Is she as nurturing as she appears? Or what was your favorite memory? She is a very strong and determined woman who is a real go-getter and inspires girls to do the same.
6. Who was the biggest villain on your season? It was hard to get along with Camille because I felt she was kind of arrogant.
7. Who is your favorite supermodel?Stephanie Seymour
8. What is your favorite fashion trend right now?Retro beauty, lots of beautiful makeup and hair, and lots of beautiful clothing
9. What is your least favorite trend right now?I don’t like wearing a T-shirt and jeans all the time -- it gets old.
10. What's the biggest misconception about models/modeling that you'd like to clear up?I think once you are out there and you are traveling it can be a lonely l life, and it is really about making the business work for you, and earning enough to walk away. Most careers end fairly young, and the ones who have longevity have made the right business choices along the way.
