Electronic Music Duo, Intergalactix, Premieres New Video For 'Tuesday'
By Michelle Ehrhardt
Coming together in Los Angeles in 2013, longtime friends Kristian Attard and Serg Demitrijevic formed the electronic music duo Intergalactix and set out to take audiences on a musical journey through space while still maintaining a vintage feel. Focusing on driving beats, unpredictable synths, and radiant vocals, the group released their first EP, IWSOM, on Aug. 12.
Having produced songs for artists, such as Ariana Grande and Kelis, the duo is now looking to demonstrate their expertise with the new music video for the lead single off of IWSOM, “Tuesday,” exclusively premiering on Out.com.
Echoing a classic theme of togetherness through music, the video features a sort of music superhero who, whilst listening to classic ‘80s hits, receives a call from a hotline. Grabbing a music-playing briefcase and heading to the streets, the hero encounters various dejected, aggressive, and bullied individuals and manages to soothe their woes as his briefcase turns conflicts into dance parties. The lyrics promise that this is not a “new day,” but just a “Tuesday,” hinting that this sort of uplifting and energetic experience is a normal day for the song's hero.
