Sam Smith isn't "In the Lonely Hour" anymore. He told UK's Metro that he found himself a man--and he did the low tech way. "No offense to people who go on Tinder, but I just feel like it's ruining romance. I really do," the "Stay With Me" crooner said. "We're losing the art of conversation and being able to go and speak to people and you're swiping people."
For Smith, the problem with using online apps was that too much emphasis is put on the physical. "From my experience, the most beautiful people I've been on dates with are the dumbest, so why would I swipe people who are 'unattractive' when I could potentially fall in love with them?" he explained. "Stop Tinder and Grindr!"
"I've been on a couple of dates. I'm good at dates," the now-attached 22-year-old explained. "I used to get really nervous, but now I'm better. There is one particular guy that I've been on a few dates with. I like him, but who knows?"
Smith's being tightlipped about his boyfriend's name, but whoever he is, he's a lucky man.
