Comedian and game show host, Billy Eichner, can soon add "published author" to his resume. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Emmy-nominated host of Billy on the Street inked a deal with Grand Central Publishing to bring his brand of cranky comedic sass to print.
Along with BOTS, Eichner is solidifying his particular brand of outrageous and unpredictable comedy. Add on to that his hilarious recurring character on NBC's Parks and Recreations and the upcoming USA series, Difficult People, and one can see why this book deal is just the tipping point for the comedian.
Eichner says his book will be translating his comedic take on Hollywood and pop culture to print.
"I'm very excited to start writing, and I can assure my fans they will love the book more than Shailene Woodley loves Tom's of Maine. This book is for anyone obsessed with show business, pop culture, social media and lots of other fun topics that fill our days as we hurtle helplessly toward accidents, illness, infidelity and death."
Sadly fans will have to wait to get a taste of his writing style, as a release date for the untitled bookhas not yet been determined.
