Disposable cameras are back in a big way.

The Naked Eye Celebrity Camera Auction, put on by MIX NYC, gave 35mm disposable cameras to a group of celebrities - including actors, writers, musicians, models, drag queens and porn stars, among others - that they filled with personal photos, including selfies, and then signed.

These cameras - used by movie and television stars like Joseph Gordon Levitt, Michael Cera, Parker Posey, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Julie Bowen, along with RuPaul's Drag Race royalty, including this year's winner Bianca del Rio, Miss Congeniality, BenDeLaCreme and season 5 finalist Alaska - will be auctioned "naked," meaning undeveloped negatives will be included, ensuring the winning fans original, one-of-a-kind photos.

Some of these cameras, like the ones used by Sasha Grey and James Franco, are going for upwards of $6000, but others, still used by well-known figures, start as low as $49.99 - and today is the last day to bid on them.

MIX NYC is the nonprofit home of the New York Queer Experimental Film Festival, the longest-running queer film festival in New York City and a pivotal starting point for new and emerging talents in the community. Founded in 1987, the organization's goal was to develop new media that shed light on the AIDS crisis and the social unfairness that ensued.

Today, MIX sponsors film screenings throughout New York City, works on film preservation projects and offers media training for at-risk and low-income LGBTQ youth. The group has also expanded its festival presence to Mexico, Brazil, Italy and Denmark. This year's New York festival will run from November 11-16.
