Quote of the Day: James McAvoy Thinks Michael Fassbender Should Be His Bottom
By Les Fabian Brathwaite
While promoting X-Men: Days of Future Past, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Hugh Jackman sat down with Brit talk show host Graham Norton where they delved into the creepy, cute world of homoerotic fan art and fiction.
Of course, who hasn’t fantasized about McAvoy and Fassbender going all homo superior on each other, but the internet took those fantasies to their logical conclusion: lovingly constructed portraits of Fassy feeding McAvoy…in more ways than one.
One such portrait has Fassbender giving McAvoy his cherry, off a freshly baked cupcake, and another features McAvoy giving up his cherry to Fassbender in the kitchen of their dreams. Baked goods seem to be a reoccurring theme.
The goodnatured duo seem nothing but amused, and perhaps flattered, by the art, but McAvoy has one objection.
“Whoever’s creating this artwork — I applaud your honesty, by the way, it’s beautiful work,” McAvoy says to Norton, as his bromantic life partner looks on. “But if anybody’s giving….”
Raised eyebrows abound.
But James, you gotta give the artist some creative license, especially since Fassbender’s endowment has become the stuff of legend—and its own Tumblr—at this point. And ain’t no shame in being on the receiving end of that.
