After owning the stage with his Tony Award-winning performance as The Master of Ceremonies in Cabaret, Alan Cumming set his sights on the big screen. His cover on the November 1999 issue played on his transition from the sexualized theater performer to a mainstream entertainer - searching for new exposure. That year, he moved away from small roles in films like Spice World to Saturninus in the Julie Taymor-directed adaptation of Titus Andronicus.
