Back in the fall, we stumbled across Love Bytes, one of the funniest queer web shows we've seen as of late. The series -- which follows three roommates and their dating misadventures -- has released two episodes ("Herpes of the Lips" and "Justin Beaver") that garnered almost 1 million views on YouTube. But now the Love Bytes team is asking for your help.
Creators Tonette and Victoria Stanford have started a Kickstarter to finish the first season.
"This is a web-series that celebrates diversity and sexuality through the universal experience of searching for love. It's a funny, entertaining show for a queer audience that we hope will be embraced by the wider community at large. It's a show that promotes tolerance and acceptance and gives audiences around the world an opportunity to have a good laugh at the awkward absurdity of dating that we have all been through."
The team is hoping to reach a goal of $12,000 AUD by April 16. They're at $1,735 AUD right now, so if you're a fan of the show, send them some cash-money love and support.
