First Look: Netflix's Orange Is The New Black Season 2

With the return of Orange is the New Black's just months away, Netflix has released new photos from season 2. The series appears to pick up right where it left off, with that fight in the prison yard, and teases newcomer Lorraine Toussaint as Yvonne "Vee" Parker. Toussaint joins Taylor Schilling, Taryn Manning, Laverne Cox, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Brooks, who was upped to series regular, and Laura Prepon, who was initially leaving the show after season 1.

In other OITNB news, the show will complete in Emmy's comedy categories. The move comes as Netflix readies two Emmy consideration campaigns, one for Orange and the other, House of Cards. The move means that Netflix won't have to put its two shows up against each other and can also take advantage of the space created by departing shows like 30 Rock and Enlightened.

OITNB returns June 6.
