Adorbz Alert: U.S. Olympic Skier Gus Kenworthy Redefines Puppy Love

Update: The athlete won silver and adopted the litter of puppies he found

Update: Following the Twitter storm of cuteness of Gus Kenworthy's puppy love photos, the athlete not only won silver in the men's ski slopestyle event he's adopting the puppies he found. According to The New York Times, he plans to take the four pups home and find new homes for them.

"They're adorable," Swoon-worthy said. "I've kind of been a dog lover my whole life. It was hard to see them and not want to help them out, so I arranged for some kennels and on Monday I'm going to take them to get vaccinated and try to go through the process of bringing them home with me and getting them homes."

-- Previously: While there have been a number of disturbing reports that Sochi authorities were killing stray dogs, at least one athlete has found and shown love to the creature. On Tuesday, while hanging out in the Olympic Village, U.S. Olympic skier and snowboarder Gus Kenworthy found a litter of puppies. Naturally, Kenworthy snapped pics with the stranded pets with the caption, "puppy love is real to puppies."

Here's another of Gus Swoon-worthy and that adorable pup.

Not all the dogs have been killed by authorities. (Check out a photo gallery of them at Sochi.) Several groups and animal lovers rounded up the stray dogs, which are now available for adoption. Hopefully they'll find comfortable new homes.
