The Oscar nominations were announced this morning and, while most of the categories seem to fall exactly where most people predicted, the biggest snub seems to have been for Lee Daniel's The Butler--which received zero awards consideration at both the Golden Globes and now the Academy Awards. But, on a happier note: Dallas Buyers Club! We predicted that Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto would score nominations while sitting in the movie theater and, so far, it's all coming to pass. The film garnered a total of six nominations. Also, a surprise Best Picture nom for Philomena, along with its star Judi Dench and Steve Coogan and Jeff Pope for Best Adapted Screenplay.

But boo! Guess we won't be seeing Oprah at the Oscars this year...but start planning your party. The awards show will be aired March 7.
