"Wearing pink to jail isn't ideal," Richard Caswell, 28, said Monday as he left a Manhattan courthouse, according to the New York Daily News. "I got a lot of looks."
He wasn't charged with assault, but Caswell, known as Vito Gallo in his adult films, was allegedly trespassed into Lucas Entertainment, porn mogul Michael Lucas's Hell's Kitchen studio, on Sept. 12. He happened to be wearing a hot-pink T-shirt at the time he was tossed in jail overnight for trespassing.
"It was a nightmare," Caswell said, who has an exclusive three-year contract with the gay porn company. He claims he makes approximately $1,500 per film and "is a top model at the multimillion-dollar agency," according to the newspaper. (In the photo the Daily News ran of Caswell leaving the courthouse, he's very tan, clean-shaven and looks quite dapper--not like his typical scruffy, furry image seen in the Lucas films.)
"We were using him all the time," Lucas said. "He's very popular, he's very good looking and he's one of my top four performers. We'd love him to return if he goes through very serious anger management and see a shrink."
It turns out Caswell was honorably discharged from the Navy after he confessed his sexual orientation to a navy chaplain in November of 2010, shortly before President Barack Obama ended the military's 'don't ask, don't tell.'
