'It's terrified the money,' the TV host explains

Remember when Keith Olbermann would rouse the liberal troops with his long-winded, yet highly articulate diatribes on MSNBC? Well, just because he's at ESPN now doesn't mean he hasn't found a new pulpit for his rousing rants.

Last night, he took on the idea of the Sochi Winter Olympics boycott that has gathered steam in some corners (although most athletes are against such a drastic action) due to Russian President Vladimir Putin's laws against "homosexual propaganda," calling him a "semi-elected, semi-dictator" and invoking some hilarious rhetoric that has issued from Prez Putin's lips (even Tchaikovsky gets mentioned, which doesn't happen every day on ESPN!).

What is the ultimate consequence of all this, according to Olbermann? American sponsors and advertisers are afraid of these Russian anti-gay laws. And money matters. Legalized homophobia can't win when that's happening. Case closed?
