Chris Brown quit music forever. Then he un-quit, which is sad for people who preferred never to hear from him again and hoped he'd find a new calling in some significantly less public capacity. I mean, what's Vanilla Ice doing these days? Couldn't Brown do that?
Now Billboard reports that Sha'keir Duarte, which is a real name of a real person in the entourage of Frank Ocean (btw, not a real name) has sued Brown for unspecified damages following a January dust-up. It was a fight over parking spaces at a recording studio. Over parking spaces.
Duarte claims he was punched and kicked by someone from Brown's crew, and is suing in Los Angeles Superior Court. He claims the beating caused a concussion "as well as humiliation and mental anguish as a result of the attack." Brown's attorney, rather than leaving well enough alone and just taking it to court, spoke up saying the lawsuit is "what gives lawyers and lawsuits a bad name is garbage like this." And Brown should know from bad names.
