The popular TLC show that focuses on celebrities' pasts gets new exec producers

Lisa Kudrow is an expert at creating self-absorbed, delusional personas. After The Comeback, she went on to star in Web Therapy, a collaboration with her equally funny pals (and husbands) Dan Bucatinsky and Don Roos. And in many ways, is there anything more narcissistic (and filled with personal landmines) than wanting to uncover ancestral skeletons in the hope of finding out something exciting about a never-known relative? So it seems perfect that Bucatinsky and Kudrow are teaming up to breathe new life into TLC's Emmy-nominated docu-series Who Do You Think You Are? as its new executive producers.

While the popular show can often be heartwarming and rife with drama, we're sure the duo will also be looking for the uncomfortable (and funny) moments that happen when celebrities are digging into their potentially embarrassing family trees.

"I've never stopped hearing about how much people love Who Do You Think You Are?, and I've always known that we've had more great stories to share," Kudrow said in a statement released by the network. "TLC is a great home for the series, and we join our excited celebrity participants as we unearth some amazing background and surprising histories," Bucatinsky added. And if there's any question as to whether Bucatinsky understands the stress (and humor) of family, check out his stories about being a father to his adopted children.

New eps began premiering July 23, beginning with Zooey Deschanel, and upcoming ones include Chelsea Handler, Christina Applegate, Cindy Crawford, and Chris O'Donnell have all signed on.
