And 5 other things you need to know today

1. Earlier this month, the Pew Research Center released the results of a survey of gay tolerance. Pew surveyed 39 countries and unsurprisingly Pakistan didn’t win the tolerance pageant. What is surprising is that Pakistan, according to Mother Jones, is by volume the world leader in search of “shemale sex,” “man fucking man,” and “teen anal sex.” The nation also ranks second, behind also intolerant Kenya, for volume of searches for “gay sex pics.”

2. Daddies are in, according to writer Mike Albo. In a piece for New York magazine’s “The Cut,” he states there’s been a rise in interest for “gays of my ‘seasoned’ age bracket.” Albo reports that there’s been an uptick in daddy porn sites, hook up apps, and dating sites. If you want to experience this daddy magnetism for yourself, google any picture of Alan Cumming and let his rakish good looks spellbind you.

3. Joe Manganiello’s going to star in A Streetcar Named Desire. The True Blood star will open the Yale Repertory Theatre’s 2013-14 season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Manganiello will take on the role of Stanley Kowalsk, Blanche DuBois’ loutish brother-in-law, in the Mark Rucker directed rendition of Tennessee Williams’ 1947 classic. The man can strip, but how’s his “STELLA?” We know he looks good in a white undershirt.

4. Kanye’s latest album, Yeezus, has hit the web because, despite how much he thinks he is, Mr. Kim Kardashian is in fact not an all mighty God. The album will be released officially on Tuesday, but just root around Twitter and you’ll be able to find a link.

5. According to our statistical BFFs, aka the Pew Research Center, LGBTQ Americans feel more accepted, despite lingering stigmatization. Pew reports that 92% of LGBTQ adults feel that society has become more accepting in the last decade, however, many adults feel that they have been pilloried. 39% said that a close family member or friend at one point in their lives rejected them, while 58% said they’ve been the butt of jokes or the target of slurs. Read the full report here.

6.Kylie, the ageless dance-pop goddess from Down Under, has once again bestowed upon us a divine gift. Last month, the Aussie songstress gave us a present for her 45th birthday: “Skirt,” which might be a track off her upcoming 12th studio album, her first record since signing with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label. Now we’ve got a lyric video for the dub-step tinged track it is spectacular. Co-written with The-Dream and produced by Nom De Strip, this is just simply...everything. Check out the video below:
