Though the new Fire Island Pines Pavilion won't be open until at least next week, therefore missing the Memorial Day rush, the designers and developers behind the new structure released this video to offer visitors and newbies a little insight into what they hope to achieve, how the new space differs from the one that burned down in 2011 and why Fire Island still matters after all these years.
