2. The Boy Scouts of America will vote tomorrow on whether or not to allow openly gay scouts. Gay scout masters, however, are not part of the discussion, because the BSA has already established that they think adult gays are bad news.
3. Exxon Mobil has a lot of explaining to do, and faces a legal complaint, for allegedly overlooking gay candidates in favor of less-qualified job applicants, a practice that earned the oil company a less-than-zero rating on the Human Rights Campaign's annual Corporate Equality Index.
4. The Canadian government lifted a ban on gay male blood donors, but only if you haven't had sex with another man in the past 5 years.
5. The NYPD arrested one man for one of the two anti-gay attacks that went down after the Mark Carson rally.
6. Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is unsure about marriage equality because he's heard arguments that it could lead to polygamy and somehow those arguments confused him. Also, he doesn't think gay rights are civil rights: "I guess I just don't equate the two. It's not a subject I'm knowledgeable about. I guess the Rumsfeld rule here is: I don't know."
