We knew the '90s were cool but this is the ultimate: Roseanne child star and an alt rocker nuptials? Hell, yeah. According to Us Weekly, The Talk's Sara Gilbert opened on the show up about her engagement and elaborate, musical proposal in an L.A. park from former 4 Non Blondes front lady (best known for one-hit wonder "What's Up?") Linda Perry. As Gilbert recalled:

"We go to a park, and we have food and we're eating it, it's really sweet and there's this guy sitting playing guitar, like a street musician, and he starts playing this song that we love. I'm like, 'Oh, that's so weird, this is so magical and amazing.'"

Gilbert continued: "So that ends, and she's like, 'Oh, I'm gonna ask him to play this other song,' but this other song is really obscure and this guy wouldn't know it, but magically he knows it."

Their fellow picnickers then pulled out instruments and joined the guitarist to serenade the couple with The Cure's "Love Song." Then Linda put on a series of T-shirts that each had one word, eventually forming the question: "Will You Marry Me?"

Sweet! Who said the '90s couldn't make you swoon?

Perry has writing credits for Pink ("Get the Party Started"), Christina Aguilera ("Beautiful"), Alicia Keys ("Superwoman"), and Gwen Stefani's "What You Waiting For?" and was recently featured in Galore mag. When the interviewer asked her to describe the last time "a crazy person came up to you and started belting" out "What's Up?" Perry laughed and responded: "Actually, just the other day someone emailed my girlfriend a video of all these drunk people singing along to 'What's Up?' literally at the top of their lungs." So do we think it MUST be included in the wedding ceremony in some fashion? Please?
