Reality television and pornography have been inextricably linked since Paris Hilton turned her sex-tape scandal into a lucrative career. The socialite's role on The Simple Life turned her shameful secret into a cash-cow, with fragrances and clothing lines to follow. Kim Kardashian scooped up her business plan (sex-tape, TV show, perfume deal) and now she and the whole Kardashian Klan leer at America from computers, TV screens, merchandise, and magazine covers. Sex sells--very well indeed--and it seems as though Mike Shouhed, the beefy star of Bravo's Shahs of Sunset is the latest to cash in.
The 34-year-old real estate agent and reality TV star told TMZ that his parents "love" his new role as Playgirl's latest cover star. Plenty of "celebrities" have turned to Playgirl to show off their "talent." Remember that, much to the chagrin of Sarah Palin, Levi Johnston shook up the political world with shots of his bare bum in his feature?
In TMZ's behind-the-scenes shots from Mike's shoot, it seems as though the centerfold will leave little to the imagination, but as far as whether he goes full frontal and shows his "kabob", he told Us Weekly that "I haven't really decided how much of Mike Shouhed they're going to get. I want to make people happy and keep it classy. I'll have to see how I feel that day."
Whether Reza Farahan, the shows openly gay castmember will drop trou someday is yet to be confirmed, but it's more than likely that bears and bear-chasers alike are waiting with bated breath.
