For some weeks now, Neil Patrick Harris fans have been introduced to a whole other side of the How I Met Your Mother star. Harris' web series Neil's Puppet Dreams -- made in partnership with Nerdist and Henson Alternative -- is a trippy look inside the actor's REM-state mind. It's theatrical, silly, and kind of raunchy -- think less Sesame Street and more Avenue Q. Needless to say, it's been a mild viral hit on YouTube and has featured cameos from Nathan Fillion, Joe Manganiello, and NPH's husband, David Burtka.
In the latest episode of the irreverently naughty web series, Harris is abducted by puppet aliens, strapped down, and prepped for probing. Unlike the probing done on series like American Horror Story, however, Harris is just giddy at the thought of these puppet aliens putting you-know-what into you-know-where.
"Yes! O-M-G you guys, I have been dying to get abducted for forever!" Harris exclaims once realizing where he is. Turns out, sadly, that the aliens don't want him, claiming that they "probe only persons of non-influence." Frankly, I don't know how anyone could turn down NPH, but I digress.
Lucky for us, Harris persuades the aliens to reconsider. "Give me a quickie probe? C'mon, a couple glasses of rose and I'm good to go!"
