The Three Stages of Cher

Cher won't let Dolly get one up on her in this arena, that's for sure. The legend tweeted that she's working on a musical, and it will show the three sides/stages of her life to be featured in a forthcoming Broadway musical. As you know, Dolly is working on one of her own story with her own music. Could it be that we'd have dueling divas on Broadway soon?

"Prod r trying 2 write musical now about my life with my music," Cher wrote on Twitter Monday, adding that she will help write the script because, "I was there and know the stories that no one knows but me!"

She also tweeted: "I hope it happens! It's a VERY SLOW PROCESS! Been working on it quite a while now."

She also joked that she may play "old Cher." We wonder if we could also have an army of Cher impersonators on stage (Chad Michaels take note). Like, a bizarre meta-theatrical explosion of Cher-tasm.

According to THR, Cher is also working on her 26th album, which will feature a song written by Lady Gaga and produced by RedOne. Umm. The lady is 66. Did she have some of that Death Becomes Her serum and is going to live forever? Viva Cher!
