The President's recent declaration supporting same-sex marriage enters his administration's reelection campaign.

In a five-minute spot released yesterday on YouTube, the Obama reelection campaign touts his administration's victories in fighting for LGBT equality.
The ad, narrated by Jane Lynch, indexes the administration's triumphs in the struggle for equality. The video intersperses the President's speeches and interviews with stills and videos from gay equality and pride marches and news clips reporting on his administration's polices and achievements. "The fight for LGBT rights is consistent with that most important part of America's character which is to constantly expand opportunity and fairness to everybody," the POTUS declares, before going on to discuss the impact that meeting LGBT couples and veterans of the military--forced into the closet under DADT--has had on his evolving stance on gay rights.
This video comes on the heels of Wolf Blitzer's interview with Colin Powell, in which the former Secretary of State expressed support for gay marriage.
