True Blood Season 5 Trailer: More Chris Meloni

It's no surprise that we're big fans of True Blood. Alan Ball (No. 37 on Out's Power List) has crafted one of the truly addictive--and sexy--vampire franchises of all time. And we've featured quite a few of the stars in our pages and on recent covers (Alexander Skarsgard and Joe Manganiello being the most recent).

But then there is our absolute adoration of Chris Meloni (since his days on HBO's Oz).

The super sexy Law & Order: SVU star plays an ancient, powerful vampire who gets involved in Eric and Bill's lives. The teaser definitely has him playing creepier than his gay Keller-but-I'm-a-serial-killer character from Oz. But are holding out hope to see some skin--and make the gross-out worth it.

Oh, and let's not forget Felicity / Grey's Anatomy star Scott Foley, who will also be joining. TVLine reports that we won't see Foley naked and having insane sex like so many of the other characters do on the show. "It's so disappointing because I went on a diet, I got into great shape, I lost weight... and nothing," he said. So who is his character on the naughty nocturnal series? "I'm not a vampire, I'm not a werewolf, I'm not a werepanther, I'm not a fairy, I'm not a shapeshifter. I'm just a guy coming into town trying to finish something he started back in Iraq."
