Spider Men In Love?

Reeve Carney sends Andrew Garfield flowers to welcome him to the neighborhood

Can two super cute super heroes have a successful relationship while avoiding the pitfalls of competitiveness and the old "that's my spandex bodysuit" argument?

Perhaps if both super heroes are Spider-Men.

According to the New York Post, the absolutely adorable Andrew Garfield was pleasantly surprised to find a bouquet of flowers waiting for him backstage at the opening of his Broadway version of Death of a Salesman from none other than Broadway neighbor and fellow super arachnid Reeve Carney.

Carney, who plays Spider-Man in the over-the-top musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, sent the flowers to his big screen alter ego and supposedly signed them "Happy opening, from one Spidey to another."

Awww! If that doesn't just warm your heart, nothing will. If these two crazy kids can make it work, gosh darn it, then the rest of us can too!

Garfield's version, The Amazing Spider-Man, hits theaters in 3D on July 3 and co-stars the delightful Emma Stone. You can catch Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark at New York's Foxwoods Theatre.
