Stars round out cast including George Clooney, Matt Bomer, Jane Lynch

They probably couldn’t fit any more stars even if they tried.

The final casting has been announced for the high-wattage, Rob Reiner-directed, one-night-only reading of Dustin Lance Black’s 8 on Mar. 3 in Los Angeles, and it’s impressive to say the least.

Kevin Bacon, Glee’s Chris Colfer, and John C. Reilly have joined the cast for the fundraiser, which already includes George Clooney, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jane Lynch, Martin Sheen, Matt Bomer, Campbell Brown, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Cleve Jones, Christine Lahti, Matthew Morrison, Rory O'Malley, Yeardley Smith, and George Takei.

The show hasn’t just rounded up big-name stars, but it’s also brought on the political side of a number of Hollywood heavyweights.

“It is astonishing that gay and lesbian Americans are still treated as second-class citizens,” Clooney said when he joined the show. “I am confident that, very soon, the laws of this nation will reflect the basic truth that gay and lesbian people—like all human beings—are born equal in dignity and rights.”
