'Two Guys, A Girl, And A Turkey Baster' might be coming soon to your TV

Has anyone else heard of this little play called The Book of Mormon? Well, it's this show happening somewhere in Manhattan about some Mormon missionaries who... Oh, you know? Then it should come as no surprise that Andrew Rannells, the exceptionally clear-skinned actor who plays the lead role of Elder Price has landed a role in a new Ryan Murphy project.

Rannells is perfect for a television show coming from Glee mastermind Murphy--he can sing, he can dance, he's a ghost. Well, maybe not the last one, but American Horror Story is its own special thing. Anyway, according to Deadline, Rannells will play one of two gay dads who, along with a feisty lady as their surrogate, decide to start a family.

Though not yet in production, the website says that the show is already shaping up to be a big deal.

"It has not been greenlighted to pilot yet but is fully expected to," Deadline reports. "NBC landed the pitch in a three-way bidding war with penalty said to be bigger than any other commitment for a comedy project this season."

If you're looking to catch Rannells on TV sometime soon, he'll be appearing on HBO in Lena Dunham's new series, Girls.
