OK. I know that it may appear that I have an unhealthy obsession with the BBC soap-opera-disguised-as-highbrow-entertainment Downton Abbey, and you'd be correct. And while most of my friends love to wax poetic about whether or not that trollop Mary and the noble Matthew will ever consummate their love for one another, I'm much more interested in another character entirely. Dame Maggie Smith's Dowager Countess may be a tad long in the tooth, but she spends each episode teaching the trio of Crawley spawn just what it means to be give sass, and is ultimately the most spirited soul to inhabit the Abbey. Her zingers and priceless facial expressions prove exactly why she was awarded with the title Dame. Now, Smith's character has been given the "Sh*t People Say" treatment, and while this Internet trend is quickly on its way to being tired, this one especially tickles my fancy.
