Absolut's 30th Anniversary Party at Splash Bar NYC

Absolutrotate

Absolut vodka has been a long-time friend to the gay community, constantly supporting LGBT fundraising events and charitable causes. What's really astonishing is that they've been doing it for 30 years. Back in the 1980s, when many big business were ignoring our people, Absolut was there. They sponsored Pride events, film festivals, and even AIDS charities--which was a very controversial thing to do at the time. As such, Absolut has become one of the premium vodkas ordered in gay bars across the country.

Now Absulut vodka is celebrating their 30-year association with the LGBT community by throwing a year-long party in American gay hubs. The campaign features a moving art installation featuring work from the indomitable David LaChapelle. This will tour through various states, popping up at selected bars and clubs. Visitors can have their photos taken in the truck and those images will appear on the Absolut OUTrageous Facebook page.

The tour kicked off at Splash Bar NYC and we snagged some amazing pics of the booth, the hot bartenders, and all the fun. Check them out HERE.
