Shipley & Halmos Spring 2012 Preview, Plus a Video Interview

Another update from our round of spring previews. This one is from the always reliable, and incredibly stylish boys at Shipley & Halmos. While some designers like to use their medium to indulge in the most eccentric of sensibilities (we've all seen a runway show and had that That's cool and all but who the hell is ever going to wear that? moment), this duo is all about clothing you want to live your life in -- every single day. Looking ahead, the guys have really set their eye on creating a complete wardrobe, branching out from their already-desirable slim-cut suits, preppy button-downs and practical/pretty outerwear. Now we can expect everything from shoes, sunglasses, bags (we're loving the striped backpack), and everything in between to take us from work to play -- weekday to weekend, as it were. While some find it gauche to wear one designer from head-to-toe, we'd gladly indulge in entire ensembles from the line.
