This month Korallreven releases its debut album, the aptly titled An Album by Korallreven (Acephale), a collection of shimmering, islandy tracks featuring acoustic guitars, kettledrums, lush strings, and chipmunk vocals(!). Here, their favorite places in the capital city.

"Once upon a time, a young Tupac Shakur performed in this dark cellar with Digital Underground. This was also where we did our very first DJ sets. The staff loves music as much as shaking cocktails, and the food (a mix between French and Swedish) is among the best in the city. Try the classic salt-cured salmon with dill-creamed potatoes."
