Glasses Half Full: Maison Martin Margiela x Cutler & Gross

Following the success of last year's partnership, avant garde apparel and accessories line Maison Martin Margiela is once again collaborating with Cutler & Gross on a line of sunglasses. With an eye on both luxe and oddball details, the house of Margiela will be adapting its "Replica" line to include sunnies for the first time ever. Four new styles will be introduced this season starting in November at Margiela stores and specialty boutiques: Replica France will be based on French design from the seventies and feature a rounded design and tapered edge; Cable Temple will have an acetate frame and arms made of German metal; Rimless will be just that -- seemingly sans frames; and Replica Turkey will lift elements from Turkish Army design of the eighties. All, however, will be majorly cool.
