Pic of the Day: Two Worlds Collide

In the same way that everyone becomes a soccer expert overnight when the World Cup begins, during Fashion Week, suddenly people you never knewthought twice about their clothing in the morning are front row fixtures. This season, basketball players have been dominating the front row with one noted exception. While rapper Nicki Minaj has only shown up to a sprinkling of shows (Prabal Gurung with a whipcream dollop of wig on her head and oversized floppy pink bow, natch!) yesterday she pulled to top of the competition by sitting next to our beloved Anna Wintour at Carolina Herrera. Word is everyone ignored poor Renee Zellweger and opted to get one of the more amusing combos in recent fashion memory: the puffball-laden rapper sitting next to the editrix in a painterly frock. Priceless.
