Two Lovers, Separated for 33 Years, Need Your Help to Reunite

We've talked about the company Kickstarter before (but as a reminder it's basically a website for creative folks looking to raise money to help produce a project they're working on -- be it an album, book, movie, play, or the like). The latest one that has stolen our hearts is called I am the Water, You are the Sea, a documentary about the reunion between two lovers -- a young American named Alex and the Iranian lover he met while working for the Peace Corps in the 1970s. Although they were seperated in 1977, their enduring love has persevered both time and distance. Though it may be cliche, good things do come to those who wait as director Malachi Leopold has set out to chronicle the long-awaited reunion of the two men. But wait! He still needs financial assistance to finish his film. Click here to learn more about the project and donate towards the film's completion. Do it quickly, though, as time is limited. You have until tomorrow, July 1st, at 7:00am to donate.
