Tracy Morgan's Nashville routine was a lot more melancholy this time around, as the comedian offered a public apology to the city earlier today. With GLAAD and Kevin Rogers -- who brought Morgan's homophobic comments to light in a Facebook post -- in tow, a straight-faced Morgan spoke of his regrets, and asked for the forgiveness of the Nashville and LGBT community. "I don't see gay or straight, I just see human beings now," Morgan conceded. "I hurt people with this, so from the bottom of my heart I apoligize to everybody who I offended."
Rogers accepted Morgan's apology and the work he had done, including a meeting with LGBT teens in New York last week. "I really appreciate him taking the time to come back out and try to right what I believe was just a huge mistake," Rogers said.
And what better to forgive and forget than hugging it out?
