Out Goes To Sweden: Getting There

Greetings from Sweden!

Our trip is already more than halfway done and so far we've eaten herring 458 different ways (including one batch that tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal), danced around a maypole, seen reindeer in the wild (though not that wild, since every reindeer in Sweden is actually owned by someone), rafted down the Torne river, slept in the famed Ice Hotel, and partied under the midnight sun (which is exactly what it sounds like -- at 12:30am last night the sun was as bright as it would normally be at 4:30pm).

Below are a few photos from our journey over to Sweden. Coming soon: More photos including the Midsummer celebrations we took part in and our journey to the northern part of the country.

Adele wasn't available to come to Sweden with us, so, instead, 100 copies of the June/July issue featuring her gorgeous mug tagged along. Imagine being the lucky customs official that got to give that fine piece of luggage a cavity search.

Membership does have its privileges: Beverages in the SAS Airlines Executive Lounge where Team Out strategized before boarding the flight to Stockholm.

Senior Editor Noah Michelson, Editor in Chief Aaron Hicklin, and Jack Wright were downright giddy from the plane ride, which featured free drinks, extra leg room, a sexy sleep mask, and all The Devil Wears Prada on-demand viewing they could cram into their seven-plus hours in the air.
